Commercial spa & wellness design

Spa and wellness environments that give your guests a reason to come back.

We design spa and wellness environments for hotels, resorts, retreats and hospitality destinations.

Bringing together guest experience, spatial planning, operational understanding and considered interior design.

From thermal and hydrotherapy experiences to treatment, relaxation and recovery spaces, we consider how every element works together, creating spas that feel intuitive for guests, work effectively for operators and belong naturally within their setting.

Connection with nature is central to our approach. We look for opportunities to bring the outside in through natural light, materials, planting, views and a closer relationship with the landscape, creating spaces that encourage people to pause, reset and reconnect.

A considered approach

A successful spa feels intuitive from the moment you enter.

The most memorable spaces feel easy to move through, balanced in atmosphere and clear in purpose. There is space to pause, space to breathe and a natural rhythm to the experience as people move between warmth, water, rest and stillness.

We think carefully about flow, light, acoustics and operational clarity, ensuring the spa feels calm and effortless both for guests and for the people running it day to day.

Together, these elements create a spa experience that feels natural, restorative and entirely connected to its setting.

Rooted in nature, shaped by experience

The spas we design share a particular quality. They feel connected to where they are.

Whether that is a forest setting, a coastal landscape or an urban hotel with a roof terrace, we look for ways to bring the outside in. From natural materials, planting and beautiful views to the kind of light that changes across the day and makes a space feel alive. That connection to the natural world is not decorative. It is fundamental to how a wellness environment makes people feel.

We combine that instinct with twenty years of operational knowledge, understanding how a spa actually runs, where the pinch points are and how to design spaces that hold up beautifully over time.

From early stage through to delivery

Our involvement often begins before there is a fixed brief. Some of our most rewarding projects have started with an early conversation about what a space could become, exploring feasibility, zoning, concept direction and guest experience before a single line is drawn. That kind of thinking at the beginning saves time, money and compromises later.

From that early stage through to concept development, detailed design, specification and implementation support, we stay closely involved, making sure the original intention carries through to the finished space.

We work collaboratively with clients and the wider project team, including architects, project managers, MEP consultants, pool and plant specialists, structural engineers, contractors and specialist suppliers. This helps bridge the gap between creative ambition and practical delivery, ensuring the original design intent is carried through into a technically resolved spa environment.

Still establishing the brief?

Some clients come to us with a fully formed brief. Others are still exploring what their spa could become, what their guests need and how the available space might work.

If you’re exploring feasibility, facility mix or what your spa should offer, our Spa Consultancy & Early-Stage Planning service provides a clear foundation before the design process begins.
